Student Well Being

While participating on a Global Opportunities program, students are supported by on-site staff, Global Opportunities, and the rest of the Temple community.
 
All Temple students studying away internationally are provided with international coverage that includes accident and sickness expenses, emergency medical evacuation, and repatriation of remains through their international health insurance plan administered by International SOS. Though it’s not required that students have health insurance for our U.S.-based programs, we recommend that students obtain and review their current plans to ensure they are covered while away in another U.S. destination.
 
Prior to going abroad, we encourage students to consult with their support teams on campus. They may include the following offices:
